Corporate Office Art Program
Role: Project Manager
Organization: Art & Design, Grand Image
Client: Confidential Tech Company
Project Overview
As a Creative Project Manager at Grand Image, I led the execution of a large-scale art program across two new corporate office buildings for a major technology client on the West Coast. This was one of 10–15 concurrent creative projects I managed as part of my role, where I helped translate high-level creative direction into detailed deliverables across a multidisciplinary team.
This particular initiative involved the design, production, and installation of artwork across 100 unique locations—spanning framed art, murals, digital wall graphics, floor treatments, and large-scale 3D installations. The creative direction was driven by site-specific themes including elemental materials (earth, water, wind, etc.) and contrasting building concepts (Gaming vs. Nature). My role demanded constant cross-functional coordination to integrate our creative outputs with architectural, interior design, and construction efforts in real time.
My Contributions
Program Oversight: Orchestrated a $1.9M art program from concept to install, ensuring alignment with design intent, timeline, and budget while working across internal art consultants, digital and 3D artists, muralists, fabricators, and installers.
Cross-Stakeholder Collaboration: Acted as the operational liaison between internal creative teams and external stakeholders—including the client, general contractor, and creative consultants. I managed iterative approvals, integrated feedback, and maintained forward momentum across multiple workstreams.
Design Stewardship: Facilitated iterative design approvals for concept art packages, guiding creative decisions around art placement, materiality, and color to reinforce architectural themes and local context.
Production & Installation: Oversaw the sequencing of fabrication and installation activities to match construction timelines. This included managing proofing and submittals, coordinating vendor teams, and scheduling phased on-site installations.
Approach
Integrated cross-functional workstreams across artists, fabricators, and installers while embedding creative direction into logistical decision-making. Facilitated iterative approvals and ensured execution aligned with construction timelines.
Result
The program was delivered on time and on budget, transforming empty architectural spaces into cohesive, immersive environments. This project showcased the power of operational leadership in realizing creative vision—bridging teams, timelines, and disciplines to execute high-impact, site-specific design work.
